Queer State of Mind brings topics of sexuality, gender and race to the forefront of the discussion of all things, whether entertainment, politics or New York City life. Part of the QueerMinded Radio Network, QSoM highlights the voices of Queer/Trans people of color from around the NYC metro area and around the world. A mix of fun personalities, topics and all the T and shade you can handle, QSoM is the place for NYC QPOCs to gather and talk.

About Orie Givens

Orie Givens is a NYC journalist and communications professional who reports on intersectionality issues within our culture. He’s an Ohio native, graduate of The Ohio State University and the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism and has written or produced work for several outlets across the country. He created the QueerMinded Radio Network, a growing group of local LGBT POC podcasts.
