This is what Brooklyn sounds like

The stage is set next week for an amazing evening of live music in our March installment of RFB Presents: 1st Thursdays @ The Well. Thurston Ray, The Lord Calverts and Deitre bring a night of entertaining front men and eclectic music from glam rock to groovy soul.

Thurston Ray describes his sound as smooth, soulful and jazzy. The Brooklyn songwriter and singer hails originally from Virginia, and he says his music reflects the ups and downs of love and life. Thurston Ray currently performs around NYC and the east coast, and recently released an EP called Embrace.

The Lord Calverts bring ’60s inspired-garage rock/power pop sounds in slick black suits to energize audiences. Their music has been featured on network TV including NBC shows The Mysteries of Laura and Aquarius.  The quintet has performed across the region, and was named by an NJ music paper as one of the 30 bands you must see in 2018.

Deitre calls themselves a provocative new wave Glam Rock duo, and they bring you art-rock with strong messages, powerful vocals and strong energetic melodies. They’ve been featured by PRIDE magazine and recently released their first self-titled EP. They also created the theme song for RFB’s political roundtable show, Objection to the Rule. Deitre will be premiering the duo’s first music video, “I’m Out,” at RFB Presents.

Advanced tickets will be available soon at $8, and tickets can be purchased for $10 at The Well, 272 Meserole St. in Bushwick.
