This is what Brooklyn sounds like

RFB Presents 1st Thursdays at The Well is pleased to bring you another evening of what Brooklyn sounds likes.

Featuring the female fronted space rock of Vaureen, the devil may care attitude of Streepthroat and Even Twice, a post-punk drum duo.

Vaureen is a female-fronted space rock band based in Brooklyn. Not for the faint of heart. The band takes its name from the French term le vaurien, aka “deviant” in the sense of something which is no good. Vaureen is Andrea Horne (vocals, guitar), Marianne Do (bass), and Cale Hand (drums).

Streepthroat – n., v. (STRĒP-thrōt) – portmanteau -Meryl Streep / Deep Throat, is a loud, weird, gross rock band from Brooklyn with a devil-may-care attitude, who wants you to paint them like one of your French girls. Streepthroat consists of Lex Kaylan (vocals), Frankie Figz (guitar), Matt Sohl (bass) and Tom Beuchel (drums).

Even Twice are a bass/drum duo from Brooklyn who feature a post-punk, rock sound provided by Pat O’Shea on drums & vocals and Robert Hait on bass.

Doors at 8:00 PM and music starts at 8:30 PM.

Tickets are $8 when purchased in advance and $10 at the door, The Well, 272 Meserole St. in Bushwick.
