Brooklyn acid-blues rockers LoveHoney, featuring band members Aly Quinones on vocals, Tommy White on the “Flying V” guitar, Matt Saleh on bass and Thomas Gehlhaus on drums brought their A-game to a sold-out Arlene’s Grocery for their “Dig This” EP release concert on Tuesday, 7/31, creating a retro ‘70s listening—and dancing—experience. Imagine Tina Turner fronting Jimi Hendrix…yes, they are that good, that talented! LoveHoney shows are all about vital sonic ingredients: ferocious vocals, soaring guitar leads and their indomitable rhythm section, all supporting their beautifully electric compositions. Radio Free Brooklyn’s “Hear and Now with Rachel C” producer/host Rachel Cleary emceed the event and a truly slammin’ time was had by all!

Look for RFB to sponsor and support another LoveHoney residency at Arlene’s Grocery in September.
