Mike Joseph is a music industry veteran of nearly a quarter-century. He is a freelance writer whose work has been featured on sites including,, The Boombox, and Ultimate Classic Rock. He’s run his own site, (blerd=black nerd) since 2010, and co-hosts the Blerd Radio and Jheri Curl Chronicles podcasts. He’s putting the finishing touches on the book version of The Jheri Curl Chronicles: An Encyclopedia Of ’80s Soul, which he hopes to have published in 2017.
