About Tristan Malĝoja

Tristan Malĝoja was raised by itinerant monks in Eastern Europe and various Asian nations after his parents were swept away in a Tsunami when he was three years old. Upon his 18th birthday, he immigrated to the island nation of Nauru and started a punk band called “Sick at Heart” and eventually became nationally known as a master balladeer whom the Denigomodu Dispatch called “the Sultan of Sad…a master of lugubrious lyrics.”  Malĝoja has been in NYC in less than a year, and is pleased to have found a welcoming home at Radio Free Brooklyn.
